DirectX Exclusive not exiting -- FIXED (1 Viewer)

I am having a problem with running programs using My Programs.

If I start MP and run the program immediately then the program will run fine. The program will run several times no problem.

If, however, I run MyVideo or MyTV which are set to DirectX Exclusive (needed to to stop tearing) then when I run a program from MyPrograms it is hidden behind MP. Is this the expected functionality? I cannot get to this window and have to exit using task mager of by pressing reset on the PC.

I have noticed that if I press F2 to bring up the configuration window this works as I would expect and appears on top.

It appears as though DirectX exclusive mode is not being released when I exit MyVideo or MyTV except if I enter the configuration screen or Quit MP.

Yes this works fine. I can launch an application. Any ideas where the problem is?

This is deffo a directx issue, the Mytv and myvideos dont seem to relinquish directx control. If you have webbrowser installed you will see a similar prob after viewing tv.

Fix with music...

I found a workaround for this: try playing a song from MyMusic, with my setup (ie. WMP9 with some visualization) this fixes the directx problem.

Eg:
* play video -> stop video -> problem present (eg. cannot exit fullscreen)
* play video -> stop video -> play song -> no problems present! (eg. can exit fullscreen) [ -> stop song if I didn't actually wanted to play music! ]

Not a real fix but I hope this helps you as well, until the bug is ironed out...

According to Mantis bug # 761, this problem was resolved on May 29 - so I would assume that any SVN after that date would contain the fix?

This was fixed as Taipan said and is a in SVN's post May 29.
