I am using windows 7 x64 premium and came across this in the wiki.

I have noticed that my remote will send two different codes for a single action (like power on).

If I change this key with Regedit, how will this disable the second code sent by my remote control?
Is this the same key in Windows 7 x64?
Does this key matter if I am using a USB-UIRT?
