Disable Vista ultimate Mediacenter (1 Viewer)

Anyone can tell me how to disble the automatic startup of microsofts mediacenter (on windows vista) when using keys of the microsoft remote. I disabled all the mediacenter services already, I removed ehtray.exe from the run key in the registry, but still sometimes mediacenter will start up when pressing Guide or OK button on the MCE remote.
