Disabling the news popup? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm a long time media portal user and I still love it.

From time to time, I have a mediaportal news popup opening when I watch a movie. Is there some way to disable that? Would it be skin related?

You have 2 options for that:

- Disable popup options for the Info Service plugin:

Mediaportal configuration -> Plugins -> right click "Info Service" and select Configuration

Now untick "Show a popup on new news feeds" and/or "Show popup while playing fullscreen video", the last one shouldn't be enabled by default in my opinion as its annoying but it is at the moment like you noticed

- Or disable news all together by disabling the plugin "Info Service" via Mediaportal configuration -> Plugins

Many thanks, I disabled the popup in infoservice and it seems to work so far
