Disk Catologue (1 Viewer)

G'day all,
I have a lot of videos stored on dvd's, can anyone recommend a good disk cataloguer, one that I can search a database to find what folder and disk any given video is stored on?
compatibility with MP is not necessarily required.

You should have a look at antp.be > Software > Ant Movie Catalog. It even interfaces with MediaPortal through the My Films plugin.

will it read a disk and store info about what is on it or do you have to add manually?

I think by using AMCUpdater, you could have it detect automagically whatever is on a disc. If you tell it NOT to delete "orphaned items" (meaning: entries in the database for which it cannot currently find the file), then it should keep information about files that are on a disc not currently inserted...
