I have seen that feature in set-top boxes from Phillips and I liked it really:
If you are watching TV and a new shows starts, the OSD is shows automatically for a few seconds, which tells you that now the new shows has started incl. the details of that show from the EPG. So it is simply triggered by the EPG and shows the existing info screen. This is very helpful e.g. if multiple episodes of the same show are occuring directly after each other.
Would it be possible to add that to MediaPortal?
Anybody interested in that feature?
