Minor problem. Just a bit annoying.

While watching a recorded TV program for some time (roughly 20 - 30mins) if I then reach the end of the recording (or use stop or back button on remote) the monitor will enter standby mode.

MP (including TV-Server) is still running as I can hear recorded program continuing through speakers if I have used back button on remote.

Then just a quick mouse movement or hitting keys will wake monitor/display from standby.

I do use MP PowerScheduler plugin. "shutdown client after 30 mins"; "only allow standby on home window"; "shutdown mode - suspend". MP TV-Client PowerScheduler plugin has similar settings.

I currently have custom power plan in Windows 7 set to:

1: shutdown monitor - after 30 mins.
2: put computer to sleep - after 1 hour.

Could this be causing a conflict?

Any ideas to rectify this?

Is anyone else experiencing same problem? If so I can post logs to share.

taskbar missing upon wakeup from MP standby

I've fixed issue of display shutdown now by simply setting the Windows7 power settings for display shutdown to "Never"

However I have noticed that when MP places my PC into S3 standby and then I resume from standby then the taskbar is no longer visible.

I have tried to rectify this - checking then unchecking "auto-hide taskbar" same for "lock taskbar". All to no avail. The only way to have the taskbar visble again is to do a restart or allow OS power settings to do standby then restart.

I don't want to remove OS power settings of standby (if this is causing the problem) as the PC is not a dedicated media centre but will operate other applications and therefore will not always have MP running.

Any ideas how to rectify missing taskbar?
