    Hi
Does anyone know of a way to combine epg data sources per program?
ie to take a valid XMLTV file for RT and digiguide and then use one to fill in the gaps in the other.
Primarily I mean to complete episode #/series # but the more the better I guess!
    Best

Best solution is digiguide and xmltvgui but it costs something like £9 per year. 14+ days of high quality guide data with full series/episode info

Thanks for the answer. I already do that though! I've noticed that there's no episode number for some series in DG, when there is on radio times (and vice versa) Eg the fades on BBC 3 (via webepg - i don't think RT grabber on xmltv GUI does episode number but it doesn't matter for these purposes).
I'm quite new to all this - started using sage about a month before it was bought (!) so I only got as far as a basic set up there before switching. So I am still finding out what I want things to do.
I had a quick look at episode scanner - good idea, but since it enriches the schedule table, and I use tvwishlist, I suspect it may not work. Tvwishlist needs the episode number to be there first in order to create a schedule for programs you don't have yet. May be wrong here and might give it a go anyway (there may be a correct order to schedule things to make it work).
Still, the same applies. If anyone has an easy way to enrich an XML file from another XML file please let me know!
