Dolby Digital on TV (1 Viewer)

Hi,

For some reason I just can't get Dolby Digital via SPDIF for TV.

I use SPDifer to pass though DD and DTS to my amp for MKV's. All works brilliantly.

However for TV I can't use SPDifer as for some reason the TV channels freeze. I therefore change the audio codec, for TV only, to the inbuild MPA decoder and have set the output to spdif but it still only passes through stereo.

Any ideas?

You used to receive DD with TV? What did yoy change?

Don't worry, sorted it. Just needed to tick 'prefer ac3' in th TV settings.
