Dots in top of Movie folders (1 Viewer)

Hi, i have tried different searches for this and cannot find any info on it, whether it's just me i'm not sure but i have these double dots at the top of all my movies that are really annoying.
I am using stock Mediaportal 1.5 with standard Titan skin with standard my video for my movie collection which is on my network server. When i click on movies it opens up with movies in a list format and double dots at the top so when i click on a movie it then goes into that movie folder/page with dots at the top showing nothing i the have to click down one line to access the movie info, instead of just going straight to the info when you click on the movie? its the same with all the movie files, when you click on the dots at the top it takes you back a step.
What i would like to know is can i get rid of the dots as they're really annoying.

Hello and welcome

I reckon' you're probably using shares view (ie. a direct view of your movie folders) and would be better suited to database view (ie. a list of your movies, without folders).

No, you can't get rid of them in shares view, because you'd have no way to get from a sub folder back to the parent folder.
Yes, you can get rid of them in database views because they don't exist there.
