I appologize in advance if I end up missing important information in the post....
I setup MediaPortal for the first time last weekend, and I was trying to finalize a few things this weekend when I noticed it was becoming increasingly difficult to save and exit from MediaPortal Configuration - it eventually became impossible.
I went back through the logs and noticed the system kept hanging on the saving of the TV Post Processing (it would never reach the SaveSectionSettings() done()).
I looked in MediaPortal.xml and noticed I had around 32k entries for Creative PCM Raw Writer. I assumed this was the issue so I removed the entries, and everything seemed to work fine, but I noticed later I had four entries again for the filter in my configuration, and sure enough, after going out and coming back in again I had 8....16...32...
I'm assuming this problem did not exist from the initial install, as I'm sure I entered the Configuration more than 16 times.
While this is not a blocking factor for me, as I can go in and manually remove the filters from the XML file it would be nice if someone had an easy solution. I do plan to reinstall, but I would prefer to wait until I'm sure I have everything figured out - I only want to reinstall once.
I realize there are other warnings in the log files, I'll get to those
but I wouldn't think they would impact the execution of the configuration app, only the MediaPortal runtime.
