Like a lot of people out there, i update my drivers every so often.
Now between myself and family, we use intensive DX9 applications, kids games, me MP.
Have had various freeze's during gaming/mp that i could not find a reason for as nothing consistant.
Well now i have, my nvidia drivers, for whatever reason on my last windows install, used my original Gigabyte installation CD and what a difference. may not have all the whizzy funtionality of latest 9.xx drivers, but colours and edges are sharp and bright.
Also the side effect of this is MP, using all codecs running live TV is a lot clearer, and using my philips tv's PIP function, can have a direct comparison, which is now so much nearer real TV.
So as a further suggestion, always check your graphics card manufacturers website to see if they recommend a newer driver (mine did not) before you hit the Nvidia/ATI websites.
Hope someone finds this usefull.
Regards
