Ok, so I got hold of Graphstudio (and after realising you need to register proppage.dll to make it work remotely on Win 7) I started looking at why MP is different to MPC. I noticed MP is loaded up Haali Media Splitter, and I have no audio branch from this. MPC doesn't really indicate what the first filter is, I presume its an internal one. But anyway, I happened accross this post https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/general-support-51/mkv-file-dts-ma-audio-video-extremely-jerky-82131/ where he suspected Haali to not be playing nice and removed it and registered MatroskaSplitter.ax from the internal MPC codec pack. I now get audio from DTS-MA.. I still did have a problem with one particular h264 with standard DTS (the same as many files that work fine, and I found the only way to solve this was to add AC3Filter as a video post process in MP. No idea why except for seeming it in a post and it fixed the problem. This has however now caused yet another problem .. When playing movies in moving pictures with an intro movie selected (yep, its the DTS demo with the HD audio in it) the movie doesnt play after this finishes. It worked fine until I did the above so now I'm back to scratching my head again. If I disable the intro the movies are playing fine... Any ideas?
