Dual DVB-T support ! (1 Viewer)

Hello friends,

I know, it's always boring for you with a newbie ...

I have some general questions before I start again (first try was one year ago with MCE) and I have searched the forum but did not succeed in finding a satisfying answer.

I want to build a system with dual card (DVB-T) support. As I find out in the forum, Mediaportal can handle it - but I found lots of problems reported. Now for the first: Is there a recommendation for a dual solution that works good and stable (also for newbies ...) ?
I found some cards which have dual receivers (like Terratec 2400i DT). Sounds for me as the ideal solution ? Does someone can share his experience with this (or any other dual-receiver) card ? Or if not, which dual card solution is recommendable ? (If you have two cards, you have two antenna inputs. How do you handle it ?)

I've searched the Mediaportal pages for documentation how to configure a dual card system in MP. Any hint where to find ?

If your gonna use Windows XP then youll need this patch to begin with https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ys=0&postorder=asc&highlight=dvb+fix&start=15

as XP is broken and wont work properly with dual tuners (have to wonder if thats a co-incidence, MCE2005 works fine).

Otherwise its up to the drivers, makes sure you get cards which support more than one tuner.
