Can't get Media Portal to work correctly with two receivers (two rooms).

One integrated in the chassis with Microsoft MCE Remote 1039 and one Microsoft 1040 USB Receiver with MCE Remote 1039.

Both works great in Windows Media Player, but only the arrow, OK and number buttons work in Mediaportal on the external reciever.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

    Hi jimmyo,

I had the same issue, one ir receiver integrated into my EB1501 and one MCE usb receiver. I was not able to get both functioning at the same time. I had the same symptons as you, one was able to send arrow+enter keys and the other would send the full command-set. I just thought it was a limitation in the MCE remote driver which I gussed could only manage one remote. But your findings prove this theory wrong if you can fully control windows media player. Maybe it is in MP?

    Best regards
    Martin

Nice that I'm not alone with this problem, now I can rule out some possibilities.
Going to file a bug report, but waiting a couple of days too see if someone knows how to solve the problem.

    Thanks for your help

    Jimmy
