I was not able to get both functioning at the same time. I had the same symptons as you, one was able to send arrow+enter keys and the other would send the full command-set. I just thought it was a limitation in the MCE remote driver which I gussed could only manage one remote. But your findings prove this theory wrong if you can fully control windows media player.
