Would you like a softcam to be implemented in MP?

I have noticed that there are many dualtuner cards released without any CI nowdays. Is'nt it possible to implement some kind of softcam or wathever it is called in MP? And use a Phoenix USB Smartcard-reader. I want to buy one or two of them dual-tuner cards and only use one Smartcard. (Boxer)

Just to avoid confusion, I am not talking about any piracy-kind of stuff. I just wont accept that like it is now you have to purcase multiple tunercards, cams and EVEN multiple Smartcards

The way it is now is like if the manufactuers of dual-tuner set top boxes would require customers to buy one Smartcard for each tuner. And a normal customer would never accept that.

Using a card-splitter you can get away with one Smartcard, two cams and two tuners.

Just like you, i also fail to see the problem in soft-cams as the smartcards are *very* hard to copy now a days as far as i understand, meaning you would have to have access to a real card to use it. But for some reason this topic is extremely sensitive, especially so at this forum, so i wouldnt be surprised to see this thread closed down.

i too would like to be able to legally watch the channels i subscribe to on DVB-T.

this is the only reason why i don't use MP 100% on my system. at the moment i have to use another app to watch LiveTV.
