I am running into a problem with my FireDTV and FloppyDTV. They work great in Mediaportal1, but in TVserver, I cannot watch encrypted channels, the timeshifting files are blocked to 0 bytes and nothing seems to help. I have tried various (numerous) hardware configurations, and numerous builds, asked for support, but the issue is unresolved. With DVBviewer, I can watch all scrambled channels, scrambled HD channels also.
The only constants in my equation are the FloppyDTV/FireDTV tuners, the Conax card reader and descrambler card itself, and of course the signal.
So I have in sight a few other DVB-C cards with a CI module:
- Technotrend DVB-C Budget C1501 HD + remote + CI + Conax
- Azurewave AD-CP300 DVB-C
- maybe some other, still have to look around.
Any comment on there cards ?
