DVB-C (Comhem) + CI/CAM + USB - is it just asking for trouble? (1 Viewer)

Hi

I'm planning to upgrade my system with a couple of new USB TV-cards (and 1.3.0Beta). This time I've like to have CI/CAM support. My provider is Comhem (Sweden, DVB-C). The cards available to buy in Sweden are:

• Anysee E7 T2C - not supported according to wiki
• TerraTec H7
• Technotrend CT-3650 CI
• TechniSat CableStar Combo HD CI - no major retailer got this card

The latter three is supported according to the wiki, but if I read in the forums they does not actually work since MP1.2.2. The most troubling problem is this: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/trouble-with-terratec-h7-and-cam.103398/).

Any one with working MP environment with the above mentioned cards (with conax cam)?

So...
What TV-card shall I buy?
Do I have to resort to another software or shady plugins?

Hi Ministerk,

i have the Combo HD CI, and your are right there: doesnt work anymore in 1.3.
looks like the wiki for the tuners is not very accurate at the moment, at least for the cable cards. (Technisat not working, KNC stopped delivering their Cable cards, FloppyDTV stopped etc)

so, as for your question: yes, i have 1 of those cards. and no, it isnt working.

no USB support.
not usable for the systems i use. (don't have pci or pci-x, or no room for that)
