When I do a channel scan on the TV engine 0.3, the 4 HD channels inside one transponder frequency are found, while a scan with TV engine 0.2 does not find the HD Channels.

Here is the info for one of the channels from the TV engine 0.3:
Code:
    <channel Name="ProSieben HD" GrabEpg="True" IdChannel="1" IsRadio="False" IsTv="True" LastGrabTime="2007-1-22 20:11:39" SortOrder="2" TimesWatched="0" TotalTimeWatched="2000-1-1 0:0:0" VisibleInGuide="True" FreeToAir="True">
      <mappings>
        <map IdCard="1" IdChannel="1" IdChannelMap="1" />
      </mappings>
      <TuningDetails>
        <tune IdChannel="1" IdTuning="1" AudioPid="-1" Bandwidth="8" ChannelNumber="0" ChannelType="2" CountryId="31" Diseqc="0" FreeToAir="True" Frequency="626000" MajorChannel="-1" MinorChannel="-1" Modulation="11" Name="ProSieben HD" NetworkId="1" PcrPid="255" PmtPid="96" Polarisation="0" Provider="ProSiebenSat.1" ServiceId="10200" SwitchingFrequency="0" Symbolrate="6875" TransportId="1119" TuningSource="0" VideoPid="-1" VideoSource="0" SatIndex="-1" InnerFecRate="-1" />
      </TuningDetails>
    </channel>
Maybe the channel scan of the TV engine 0.2 can be changed in a way so these channels get found as well.

Probably I'll upgrade my system so I am able to watch these channels as well...

Thanks
BB

Guess that means no HDTV over DVB-C using TV-Engine 0.2

Just curious is anyone able to tune to HDTV channels on DVB-C with the TV-Engine 0.2?

Hi kkendall,

some updates on this:
The HDTV DVB-C channels are now found on channel scan. They may even have been found earlier, but it could be the case that I deleted them incidentally.
The HDTV channels of my cable provider are named as Test HD that indicates, that this is rather a test of my provider. In earlier versions of TVServer 3 the channels were marked as FTA, later on as scrambled, though they are defenitely not scrambled. Can record them with TV engine 3 and playback them later. I'm not an expert in transport streams, so maybe my provider simply sets some sort of "scrambed flag" altough the ts is not scrambled at all. Maybe earlier versions of TVServer 3 marked the streams as fta, tvengine 2 marked them as scrambled all the time. So it could be the case that simply by selecting "delete scrambled" in the mpconfig I deleted these channels although they were found in the scan. The other case could be, that my provider changed the flags from fta to scrambled, some changes have been made to the tvengine 2 and later on the channels have been found in tvengine 2 as well.
Fact is now in both tvengine 2 and tvserver 3 the channels are found in a channel scan and in both apps they are marked as scrambled though they are not.
If I tune to a HD channel in TV engine 2 now, I can hear the audio, but the screen stays black.
This is maybe only a filter problem similar to the ts avc playback problem here:

I'm using Haali+CoreAVC - maybe with other codecs (PowerDVD) I would get a video as well. Haven't tried yet.
