My advice: Don't go for the Terratec Cinergy 1200! The standard software that came with the card did not work. Only after downloading the BETA software and drivers i got it to work(although very unstable). (Don't know the current status. Last time i tested it was about a year ago :) ) In MP 0.1.3.0 and MP 0.2 RC2 the TV and Radio channels are found but... - When watching TV the picture is black and the sound stutters - When listening to the Radio the sound also stutters I also had some Email contact with the terratec helpdesk about the support for BDA drivers and which CI module(for future use) i could use. Awnsers: - They emailed me some Beta BDA drivers(Version: 4.7 Date: 15.09.2005) which were the same as the KNC ONE drivers and did not work properly. These drivers are still the most current. - They did not know which CI module would work because they never tested any :? (the email contact was also about a year ago but the drivers never got an update and are still the same) My Spec's: Windows XP Pro (SP2, .NET 1.1 & 2) AMD 2400+ GeForce FX5200 Hauppage 250 Terratec 1200 DVB-C About the 'Smatrcard' it isn't always needed. I've got a Caiway cable connection and don't have a 'Smardcard'. Works fine(with my standalone decoder atleast :) ).
