For the first time since I use Mediaportal I decided to record some tv shows and watch them during the day. After watching one episode I noticed that the EPG listing had filled. This was the first time I've seen the EPG working since I started using Mediaportal years ago. During these years I tried a few times to get the EPG to work with different settings, every time in vain. In januari I had some problems caused by bad weather/low signal giving problems with tv-service (found this in Mantis as a known problem). I decided to do a complete reinstall of Mepo. This time I watched closely he EPG. A few days there was nothing happening, but after recording and watching a program I noticed the EPG had filled. In meantime I tried te tv-service configuration/Manual control/Refresh DVB EPG. I saw it tuning to channels saying it was grabbing EPG, but nothing happened. I am aware this clears all EPG data. Last week I've undergone surgery, and during that period in hospital my wife and son used Mepo towatch some dvd's. Back home I examined the EPG and I found some channels with good EPG data and others half filled or without the EPG data. Now I am waiting to see the EPG fill by itself but nothing happens. Monday I am going to record The Gadget Show on Five (Astra 28.8). Tuesday we will watch this episode and I hope the EPG will be filled. Logs are not available atm because my son hijacked my pc because mine is a lot faster then his. I will include them soon. I see many people struggling with the EPG,could somebody test this: Go to tv-service configuration/Manual control/Refresh DVB EPG to be sure the EPG is empty. Make a recording, check the EPG listings, play the recording, again check the EPG listings. Greetings Dani[/b] [/QUOTE]
