MediaPortal Version: 1.0.2 MediaPortal Skin: Blue3 Windows Version: XP Pro CPU Type: X2 AMD Athlon HDD: 40GB 7200rpm Memory: 4Gb Motherboard:Gigabyte S series 1. TV Card: MSI DVB TV@nywhere Satellite II DVB-S2 1. TV Card: Pinical Dual DVB tuner Satelite/CableTV Provider: BSkyb freesat/free to air Ok here is the problem I have a MSI dvb-s2 card that works fine with the msi software and also DVB dream software but not with mediaportal. The card is shown in the TV server and set up fine and scans the channels ok but when I try to preview the channels or view them in mediaportal i get the error 'Cannot start timeshifting'. I have try'd reinstalling MP using a fresh download but no joy. There is a utility that can import tuning data from Dream DVB in to MP which works but it messes up my scheduled recordings. Attached are the log files and the process is a follows, Open TV server, Tune DVB-S channels (it found about 300 odd TV and 100 Radio), Preview a couple of channels and got the error. looking at the logs it looks like there is on frequency info shown but I'm no expert on this stuff. Any help would be awesome :thx:
