As posted on the main forum, with four of the DVB-T channels that I have the MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM does not playback the audio. Using the "Intervideo Non CSS Audio Decoder for Hauppauge" fixes the problem. I was suggested that those channels have AC3 audio, and there was some problem decoding AC3 audio to stereo analog. I don't know how to find out if the channels for which audio does not work have AC3 or Mpeg audio.

I've tried with two completely different computers, one has the Hauppauge HVR-900 and the other has a Pinnacle 300i. In both I get the same result. What's more, I tried a third tuner, an Airis G807, and same thing. Restoring a clean Ghost image and installing from scratch didn't help. I also tried some SVN with no luch either. See the post linked above for more details.

Here are two logs. On the log_ok.zip I was using the Intervideo codec and everything worked fine. On the log_nok.zip I selected the internal MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM codec. But now it's worse, when this audio codec is selected I don't even get video on the channel that I had selected (Telecindo)! I've tried it several times, with the same results.

this issue could be caused by the new version of the MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM that is now in svn.

rtv is fixing a configuration problem. that could also fix this issue.

I'm not using SVN versions, in fact this install has gone from RC3->uninstall->RC4. And the second computer went from RC2->uninstall->RC4. When I tested the SVN versions, I reverted to the previous working state using a Ghost image.

If you say that work is being done in this area, by the end of the week I will try an SVN version and see if it helps.

I've installed the SVN from May 20th, 01-02 and the problem is still present, but now on less channels. Using the new MPV video codec and MPA Audio codec, I don't have audio on: 3-24 and Telecinco, but I do have audio on Telecinco Estrellas and Telecinco Sports. Also with this version using DScaler Video and DScaler Audio codecs (it seems that pairing the codecs gives the best results) I get audio on 3-24, Telecinco Estrellas and Telecinco Sports, but not on Telecinco. Weird, isn't it? As before using the Intervideo Non CSS Audio Decoder for Hauppauge does give audio on all channels including Telecinco.

I alredy tried it (as posted on the main Media Portal website -linked in the first post-) with limited success. With this codec I get audio on the conflicting channels, but it stutters badly :( .
