After I upgraded to rc3 from rc2 I am having problem with getting live tv to work properly.
Rc2 was working great.
First I tried to upgrade rc2->rc3 but live tv did not work.
Then I tried to install rc3 on a clean windows but same problem...

My problem:
When i turn on a mpeg2 channel and then switch to a mpeg4 channel everything works fine, but if I switch back to a mpeg2 channel i get "unable to start graph" or in danish "kan ikke starte graf" and after that live tv is not working at all.....

This was also a problem in some ealier versions but it was fixed some time ago, but it seems to have come back.

Could you try enabling the debug option "Always reset graph after stop" (Start tvconfig with --DebugOptions, a new section with debug options appears)

My problem is that I am using rc2 now becuse I have to have something that works.... Or else i have no tv :)
But if it is any help I tried to install rc3 on one of my clients and here it works without any problems...
So my setup is now Server:RC2 client:RC3
So maybe it could be a RC3 server issue?

But if it is necessary for the developers I could try to install rc3 on the server again and see if it helps to "Always reset graph after stop"

Am I being thick, because I cannot find that option anywhere :(

ps. looks like my cards only work correctly, when changed from generic to dvb-t, although slower than RC2 starting up and with channel changing.

It is there, but perhaps i made an error. Do you even have the debug options section in server tv config?

It is not perse needed for the dev's but i think it will solve your problem. It is not yet determined if a code change is needed / could be made.

I have the same exact same card as u do:
    Terratec cinergy 2400i DT

I seem to recall it was unable to tune any channels unless "dvb-t" was selected as network provider.
    edit card details in setuptv-

Im doing the exact same channel changes from DR1 / mpeg2 to and from Ramasjang / mpeg4.

    so far no problems.

u running latest terratec drivers ?

    btw. im on win7 x64.

I am also on win7 x64 and I am using "Cinergy_2400i_DT_Drv_1.1.0.284_XP_Vista_7" and it should be the latest drivers from Terratec.
Think I will try rc3 again and try to edit the network provider and see if it works for me too..

    It works!

Changed preffered network provider from generic->DVB-T and now it all works:)

    Thanks a lot

And it seems that channel change is a bit faster too
