I have currently installed a creatix dvb-t card but have also access to my connection from sky plus which i recently downgraded, due to having two rug rats.
anyway I am looking tp purchase a dvb-s card and need a starting point. If possible i have been told you can use various dvb-s to recieve sky HD in the uk??
if this is possible I would like advice on which kit to go for.
I have an active sky account and the dish is the basic sky plus dish installed with the box.
can you guys guide me to a good set up to enable me to do this
my rig is an asus p5w dw with a core duo 2.4mhz oc@3500mhz:D watercooled to keep the noise down (still not that quiet) graphics is a xfx7900gtx 2gb ram 500mb of hd space xp service pack 2
thanks for any help

I believe a FloppyDTV and Dragon CAM is what you are looking for to recieve Sky. I have no idea if HD is supported in MP with this combination though. I wouldn't be surprised is Sky have changed their encription system for the HD channels.

Have a search for FloppyDTV in these forums, you should find some info.
