dvb-t stick -hotfix (1 Viewer)

i,ve just bought a geniatech u718 dvb-t tv stick,when i loaded the installation cd i get a hotfix pop-up message and the driver wont load.ive contacted the seller,no joy.im running windows xp home with sp3 ,media player 11,directx 9.2....somewhere on the net [cant remember where] some one said if i have sp3 loaded that u get this hotfix message[but not if i have sp2]..can anyone help me with info on how to get the hotfix,or how to get the driver without paying some company to d/load the driver.its a geniatech u718 dvb-t tv tuner stick,suposedly capable of getting digital tv.or can anyone suggest another way of getting digital tv on my pc for free,as ive already paid for a tv stick[and its useless].cheers

Hotfixes tend to refer to Microsoft updates for Windows - XP has a needs a critical update for multiple dvb-tuner compatibility and it could be this the driver CD is looking for. Look here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ner-issue-channel-scan-crash-windows-xp-6344/

If this doesn't solve the problem. Can we have some screenshots of the various error messages? Ta.
