DVB-T subtitles do not display (1 Viewer)

I have just installed Mediaportal in a Win 7 TV Server/remote client setup. Everything works well except for TV not displaying subtitles that are broadcast by stations here in Australia. I have enabled "DVB Subtitles" in the TV Client config. Is there some other configuration or filter required?

Have you pushed "L" on your keyboard?
also try enabling "teletext" in mp config (same place).
