I use a centralized database setup with 1 server and 3 clients. After installing my Mygica U6012A I had some issues getting it show TV in MP and it was requiring a lot of MP restarts, and in centralized database consisting of over 1,500 movies and 75 TV complete TV series it takes a LONG time for MP to fully load. So I nuked one client and started over.</p><p></p><p>So here I sit with a fresh MP/TV Server installation and all I want is to get a working EPG. This has been going on for over 4 days. I have followed every guide I could find and have spent hours reading what others have to say. Still no luck. I am sure it is something simple, but I can not find it. </p><p></p><p>I know that my current setup is working, as I can get EPG Data in TsReader, ARCSoft Total Media (software that came with my HDTV Stick) and in Skype (I wrote a Skype Extra to grab EPG data so that I would have more understanding of the process). I have tried the DVB-EPG by itself and it does nothing what-so-ever. I then read some more and found a guide that says this is natural in the US and that I should use WebEPG. I follow the guide to set that up and off the top NOTHING automaps, so I get worried. True to form after mapping the 5 channels I can out of the 51 OTA channels because WebEPG does not even know things like CW and MyNetworkTV exist, nothing works. I use a centralized database setup with 1 server and 3 clients. After installing my Mygica U6012A I had some issues getting it show TV in MP and it was requiring a lot of MP restarts, and in centralized database consisting of over 1,500 movies and 75 TV complete TV series it takes a LONG time for MP to fully load. So I nuked one client and started over. So here I sit with a fresh MP/TV Server installation and all I want is to get a working EPG. This has been going on for over 4 days. I have followed every guide I could find and have spent hours reading what others have to say. Still no luck. I am sure it is something simple, but I can not find it. I know that my current setup is working, as I can get EPG Data in TsReader, ARCSoft Total Media (software that came with my HDTV Stick) and in Skype (I wrote a Skype Extra to grab EPG data so that I would have more understanding of the process). I have tried the DVB-EPG by itself and it does nothing what-so-ever. I then read some more and found a guide that says this is natural in the US and that I should use WebEPG. I follow the guide to set that up and off the top NOTHING automaps, so I get worried. True to form after mapping the 5 channels I can out of the 51 OTA channels because WebEPG does not even know things like CW and MyNetworkTV exist, nothing works.
