DVD Image Playback (1 Viewer)

I can play DVD's in MP with no problem. However, when I copy the DVD files to my Hard Disk and play these through MP, the video is badly pixelated and playback is very slow and stuttering. I have also made an ISO image of the DVD and mounted this with Daemon and get the exact same problems playing back. I have copied the images onto the same drive as MP to see if the network was causing a problem but that made no difference. Any ideas or suggestions?

Have you got the same codecs and setting in the DVD and Movies sections of your MP configuration? One method palys as a DVD the other as a movie.
