[confirm] DVD playback freezes after a short while (1 Viewer)

Hi

I have recently installed RC3, in RC2 I had no problems playing DVD's. After recently installing RC3 I am unable to watch DVD's anymore. I am fairly certain I have not made any other modifications to the system except for at total uninstall of RC2 followed by install and configuration of RC3.

The DVD starts playing but after a short while, 30secs or so, playback will stop. One movie does this during trailer playback another does it in the first menu (language selection). No movie reacts to remote/keyboard input like skip, fast forward, stop etc.

I am running RC on a W7 home premium, and I tried both Windows build-in DVD codecs and MPC/MPA codecs with same result. DVD playback in WMP works fine.

I will try uninstalling RC3, reinstall RC2 and see if the problem persist, if not I will then try installing RC3 again.

I have narrowed the issue down now. DVD playback freezes if tv client points to a remote tv server.

I made a complete uninstall of RC3, reinstalled RC2, no custom configurations, and DVD playback worked.
I made a complete uninstall of RC2, reinstalled RC3, no custom configurations, and DVD playback worked.
Changed configuration to match my setup, DVD playback froze.
Rolled each custom configuration step back until DVD playback worked again. And the culprit was remote tv server.
