Lot's of trouble can come from anydvd ( especially cracked versions)   I'm using version 6.1.3.6 and can say that works well with Vista Ultimate.-Disable dxva everywhere, so not just where it say's disable dxva but also in directshow filter settings etc.-Don't use EVR, it breaks at least dvd navigation and in combination with some codecs even breaks playback completely.Hope this helps.</blockquote>
