The problem you've described is exactly the problem I had: The disc would spin a few times, then stop. All I'd get is a black screen with no sound. No errors reported. I think it's related to the region encoding (even if you're trying to play a region 1 disc in a region one player). Try using DVD Region Free, and make sure you add MediaPortal to the list of programs it associates with. It worked for me.</p></blockquote><p></p>
