I bought a new DVD (Peep Show 3, region 2 if it's relevent..) the other day and it wouldn't play properly in either MP or WMP 11 (both audio and video stuttered and screwed up), however it plays perfectly in WinDVD4.

I'm thinking the problem is due to the copyright protection on the disc preventing the audio/video codecs from working properly - can anyone confirm my theory?

The reason i suspect this is because I read a post in this forum yesterday that talked about using the WinDVD6 codecs for DVD playback because they handle the copyright protection better.
