However, I recently did a clean install of my computer, including Media Portal and I now have an issue. Whenever I play a DVD I have to do the following steps to get it to play: 1. Start Media Portal. 2. Click on play DVD 3. The DVD begins to play - in fullscreen there is no video, but there is sound. 4. When I minimize the video and return to the MP menu there is video. 5. I stop the video and go to the settings menu to change codecs. It does not matter what codec is initially selected and what I select. 6. I return to the main menu and hit play DVD. The dvd now plays fine. The DVD function continues to work until I close MP and restart. I have done a complete wipe of MP and reloaded it. However this seems like it might be more of a codec issue. However, I does not affect Zoom Player or WMP. It's a minor issue, but a very annoying one. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. [/QUOTE]
