DVD problem (1 Viewer)

I have a small problem, when I play some DVD's after the first intro the screen gos black, I can still here the sound but no picture. Its only the odd DVD here and there. Is this a codec problem? any one else had this problem and fix it?

yeah. This is a codec problem. I have this too, with MPEG2Dec / MPV decoder. I have good results with DScaler, but other issues. I did not find a codec, yet, which gives me best results.

Other way to solve this is blindly hit enter, if you assume you are in the main menu. The movie will start. Hit F9 fo context menu und return to DVD main menu. :?

Turning Exclusive DirectX mode on / off may also help.
