DVico Fusion DVB-T Plus fails to create graph (1 Viewer)

Synopsis: I have given it a few days worth of trying but now I am at the end of ideas... I have tried both 0.1.3 and 0.2.0 with the latest CVS patches and I am getting the same results each time. When I try to go in and setup the Tuner card it comes up with "unable to create graph" and won't allow tuning.

The card is working successfully using FusionHDTV software. Likewise I have tried removing 3.41 BDA drivers and installing earlier verisons, all of which work with Fusion HDTV but not MP. All of these are showing up as working properly in the Hardware Manager of Windows. This includes the BDA tuner, WDM Crossbar, WDM Tuner, BDA Receiver and WDM Capture, which the manual states as the expected 5 drivers for this card on install.

Any ideas will be very gratefully accepted because I have seen ppl saying they have the DVB-T Plus working in MP and it looks like a great tool.

My guess would be that the BDA drivers are not all installed correctly (the FusionHDTV software does not use the BDA drivers) or that you didn't run "start.bat" when you applied the SVN update?

I suggest the you uninstall the Dvico drivers, reboot, install the Dvico drivers (I think from memory there are 5 to install?) making sure that each one is properly installed at each step, then reboot and try MP again. If you are using an SVN update, also run "start.bat" before the reboot, for good measure....

Googling the first error shows

Media portal seems to be saying theres a problem with the sbe.dll file (stream buffer engine). If thats not present or corrupt tv definately wouldnt work.

Well spotted - I just noticed that "gora" has installed MP on W2003 SP 1, which is probably why sbe.dll is missing. I could be wrong, but I think that MP will only work on WinXP and MCE?

Well that's a bugger, guess it will have to wait until Vista comes out then. Obviously the Fusion HDTV software doesn't use the same methods to display coz that works nicely.
