Easier way to switch skins within MP (1 Viewer)

I wish there could be a drop down box under Settings - General Skin selection or a popup list so I could select the skin I want without needing to cycle through them one at a time, which is very slow even on my quite peppy system.

There are so many great skins these days and I love to load several and switch skins depending on my mood. I also need to do it a lot when I am modifying, developing or testing skins. I tend to exit MP, go to Coniguration and change it there since I can do that faster than I can switch in MP.

I know there is a feature freeze, but if I don't write it while I think it I forget it! And maybe someone will remember it for the next big release! Especially if other users want it too!

Maybe just a simple "Apply" button. So you can slowly step through them without automatically changing skin!

Yep agree, if you have 5-6 skins, it can be a pain waiting the 5-10 seconds whilst it loads a skin you do not want and then moving onto the next, I think the apply button would be a better option or set a delay before activating, so you can move onto the next one.

I just picked up on this - a click on the button will open a menu to select from all installed skins Change will be in the next SVN build.

RTV - I just upgraded to MP 1.0.1 and this works like a charm. I programmed a remote key to go to Settings -Skin and now I can switch skins with a few simple key presses! No more exiting and going to config to change skins.

I'm surprised you guys change skin so often, surely you just select StreamedMP and then leave it?

LOL! Ever heard of 4:3 screens? Besides, I am not a fan of 'dark' skins. To be honest, I switch a lot when testing and skinning, but not as much when viewing. But a lot of users like to switch skins when there are several family members using their HTPC and each has his/her own preference.

God, StreamedMP is the new Mac eh?
