I often try and record programmes from ITV4 (UK) - usually motorsport at the weekend. ITV4 does not start broadcasting until the afternoon or early evening, and the programmes I am trying to record are often the first programmes broadcast that day, which means that with the default recording offset, the recording will start a minute or so before anything is being broadcast. In these instances it seems that the Media Portal recording process detects that there is no signal as the recording starts, and records nothing, leaving me with a useless file of usually about 6KB.
Is there any fix for this? I could try and change the recording offset for these specific recordings, but I cannot guarantee exactly when the broadcast will begin, and don't want to start the recording too late, and miss the beginning of the programme.
I have attached a couple of relevant logs, but they don't seem to show anything of particular interest - let me know if I can provide any more info or logs.
Many thanks for your help
Neil
