Hi
i am using xmltvnz rc3 and having problems with stability in media portal
i have been following cranznz guide to setup EPG, though after i follow the guide and do exactly as stated in guide and i get "no guide data", so i thought i should re-start pc and startup MP to see if it works, so it does work (the guide doesnt state that you need to restart). so now i am thinking everything will work and so i schedule a prog to record. next morning i wake up the program is recorded BUT THERE IS NO EPG, AGAIN "NO DATA". i must be going wrong somewhere rite? because this problem isnt common.
can someone please help me..

Hi there:

I think you might be having the same issue as I was...

I've just found this thread - https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/get-support-90/xmltvnz-0-programs-loaded-32493/

I followed it and it worked solution provided and it worked for me!

I think cranznz's guide may have missed a step - apparently after configuring the xmltv plugin to point to the folder where you have your tvguide.xml and xmltv.dtd files, you then need to click on the mappings tab, set the correct mapping, then (important!) press SAVE to save the mapping, then go back to the Setting tal, and try doing a force load again - you should see the channels loaded and programs imported.

Good luck!

i do exactly what you say it starts showing epg though after the 8th day i get no data available again. it seems MP isnt picking up the data from the file.
my batch file which i run evryday at 12am contains xmlTVNZ.exe tvguide.xml -days 8 tvnzfv_tv1 tvnzfv_tv2 tvnzfv_tv3 tvnzfv_c4 tvnzfv_tvnz6 tvnzfv_tvnz7 tvnzfv_tvnzsportextra tvnzfv_parliamenttv tvnzfv_maori

please help someone.
