[QUOTE="ASiDiE, post: 265551, member: 11017"] What is wrong with using the Built in EPG grabber? I also have schedules direct for my analog, but there is no reason to use it when the built in grabber works just fine. Being a noob... I will let you know how I do it... it's very simple. I assume if you are going to be watching dish or bev... you will be using the tv server. This is how I am doing it for Dish. I have a sat set up for bev, but don't really use it. You first need to set up all your channels. Once this is done, make sure the grabber is not set to all channels. I also turn off all languages. When you ready, you will need to select 1 channel that has the 2 day guide or 9 day guide to download. I use channels 200 for the 2 day and 239 for the 9 day. I select my channel and then wait like 2 seconds and click over to manual control. I don't know why but it seems like the tv server will not do anything if you don't. I also have my task manager open. At this point you should see your tv server for your dvb card say Grabbing EPG. You should also see the memory for the tv server rising at about 1MB per second. Let it do it's thing until the tv server is Idle and then go uncheck your channle you were using to grab. At this point, I usually reboot my server just to clean up any memory it left behind. If you are download the 9 day guide, this should be good for about a week or so until you run the process again. Sometimes I have to run this to make sure it knows it needs new data. UPDATE [MpTvDbRC1].[dbo].[Channel] SET lastGrabTime = '1/1/2000 12:00:00 AM' That is it. This also gets ALL channels.... not just most of them like schedules direct has.. and you don't have to worrie about matching them up. [/QUOTE]
