EPG Guide not showing up anymore with Right-Click? (1 Viewer)

I've been staying up on the SVN builds as they seem to play nicer with my ATSC local broadcasts. However, tonight I just updated to the latest RC4 SVN build dated 6-11-2006.

Prior to this build when I right clicked on the screen while watching an HD broadcast using my Cats Eye VBox ATSC card, there was an option for EPG Guide. This would allow me to change to a different channel. It appears to be missing with this build? My only options now are TV guide, Aspect Ratio, and Previous Screen?

Any thoughts on why this is no longer showing up for me. How else do I change my channels using the mouse?

Thanks, Randy

The miniEPG was removed from the context menu some days ago. I don't know the reason why it was removed. You can ask that on irc.

just choose tv guide and click on the current show you want to see.
(only clicking on the current one will change channels, clicking on anotherone will open the record screen)

it has not been removed just moved :) You can bring it up by pushing OK on the MCE remote (I think it's == to Enter on keyboard). And btw the "Switch to last channel viewed" is now on the "0" :)

I think this new default mapping is very cool :)

Mouse users should also be happy again with the next SVN build.

    Left-doubleclick shows the MiniGuide.

In case "Use mouse left double click as right click" is used, MiniGuide appears in the context menu.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the TV Guide to work, when I go in there now, there is no information. :)

Sounds like they will be adding a left double click to bring back the Mini EPG.

Do you mean you don't have EPG data ?

There are many ways to get these informations but it depends on your configuration (country, TV-Card Type, personal preferences)

    Main one are :

    • WebEpg
    • DVB EPG (see in configuration.exe)
    • XMLTV
    • Search this forum for other way...or ask with some more details in this forum.
