I am new in MP. Yesterday I installed the tv server, and now I just missing the epg. Earlier I use the “Timefortv” but as I understand it this will stop working within this year. Is there anybody which can help me with a EPG, but it must be simple, I am not a programmer

Hmmm, it appears the file is an XML file not a GZ file. Strange that it would be labelled that way. Anyhow, the file contains channel information without any program information. Therefore I expect the XMLTV plugin will successfully import channels (which can be mapped), but it won't import any programs because they don't exist in the file.

Tell me shall I copy the path to the xmltv folder or how to make it as a xmltv.dtd file?
In Firefox, I right click on the link and select "save link as". This enables it to be saved as a file. Similar should be possible in Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera or whatever other browser you use.
If necessary you can copy and paste the text into a new file and save it as xmltv.dtd.

Ok I save it down, but as you see I got a *.txt ending on it. When I see it on the folder is just called xmltt.dtd

That's because of the way you saved it. You must save it as a DTD file, not a TXT file.

When I see it on the folder is just called xmltt.dtd
That's because Windows is not showing the file extension (.TXT). You can get instructions for changing the extension by searching the internet:
    http://www.mediacollege.com/microsoft/windows/extension-change.html
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-nz/...ions#show-hide-file-name-extensions=windows-7
    etc.

In the setup for MC2XML :

Note: you may also create a batch file to auto rename the xmltv.xml file to tvguide.xml for you.

Can someone tell me how to make a batch file to covered up the above ?
