Here it is... I changed all text columns in program table to "collate nocase".

Can you try it for next recordings?

We can create a simple command line tool which does the modifications on existing database without loss of data.

Hi Morpheus,

Sorry for my late reply.

I have implemented the custom database. However, it had the effect that with the next scheduled recording, MediaPortal kicked off this recording over and over again, which meant that I eventually had to stop the TV service and the end result was that I had the same recording more than 200 times in a folder. I then restored the original database.

Is there anything I should have done differently?

Strange, this is not what I was hoping for. Are you able to collect DEBUG level log files (see https://www.team-mediaportal.com/wiki/display/MediaPortal2/Bug+Reports+and+Log+Files)?

Also you might to need to remove one of the different cased schedules. Maybe I can say more after taking a look into logfiles.
