Can't get the DVB EPG to do anything, so give XML grabbers a try...
WebEPG was my first choice, as that didn't work right try the XMLTV GUI offering - exactly the same problem as WebEPG! I'm getting a very pretty guide, but all the entries are for 8 hours ahead. So at 10 in the evening the BBC1 guide shows "Breakfast" has started! Nope, "Breakfast" starts eight hours later at 6 in the morning. All channels appear to be out by the same time.
I've seen others in the forums with similar problems (going back to 2007) but the solutions (where there is one) are not relevant to me. So in desperation I appeal to the hard pressed soles monitoring this forum.
I even tried defecting to XBMC which installs very nicely, but when you get to the TV setup... "Out the frying pan into the fire" comes to mind.
Cheers!

    Hello and welcome PeaBee! :)

Can't get the DVB EPG to do anything...
Are you using Freesat, Freeview, Sky... ?
The DVB EPG grabber should work for Freesat and Freeview.

I've seen others in the forums with similar problems (going back to 2007) but the solutions (where there is one) are not relevant to me. So in desperation I appeal to the hard pressed soles monitoring this forum.
The only solution I can suggest to you is:
    1. If using XMLTV, make sure the data in the XML file has the correct times and time zone.
    2. Make sure that Windows is configured with the correct time and time zone.
    Regards,

Hum, how embarrassing. So my time zone was wrong. The result of trying to figure out Windows 8.1 and install MP at the same time.

Getting things on track wasn't so straight forward: Correcting the time zone still left the guide bad, which might of corrected itself if I wasn't impatient, so I purged the guide using the TV Server Configuration tool ("Manual Control", "Refresh DVB EPG"; label seems misleading but appears to do job), refresh the "grabbing", wait a bit (MP doesn't seem to react instantly to the change?) and away I go again. Back to using DVB EPG grabber and WebEPG as both now work: Seems "time zone" was the source of all my EPG problems.

    Thanks.
