when something goes wrong it would be nice to be told way in some meaningful way. an example is that if you try to do a scan for radio stations without installing a MPEG encoder codec you are told that your tv card doesn't support radio! Other places just have no errors what so ever, like scanning for analogue TV withoug the encoder, the scanning goes fine but finds nothing, no warning just progresses as if it is working. I don't remember exacly what happens but I think the client behaves fairly badly every time the server crashes (wich sems to happen a lot more with the 1.0 version) and although I havn't seen it in this version I used to have the client just freeze after trying to turn on the TV sometimes, presumably because the server had frozen again.
