Error: not displaying details of episode (1 Viewer)

So I'm pretty new to this, but I can't seem to figure out what is going wrong here

Err.jpg & Err2.jpg are screen shots from my MP running.

Seems its missing all the Director/Rating/Detail information, but it is clearly in MP-TV.

I included Default View Episode Preview.jpg just to show what it should be... from the zipped installer preview.

I also didn't know where to post this; either Monochrome or MP-TV. If it's in the wrong forum please let me know and i'll repost, or move the thread

Any help would greatly appreciated.

I think it might be something to do with the DisplayRules (I think thats what its called) which you have to add to the MP-TVSeries config. There are instructions in the readme of the skin.

Hey, I checked the readme file... but can't seem to find it.

Make sure you use v2.0 of MP-TV Series!

Go to the MediaPortal Display Control tab of the config utility to import log rules and formatting rules.

mwh, did you get this resolved?

a couple of days ago i added the mp-tvseries plugin and today i've been trying out monochrome and indigo as skins, but i'm getting the same problem with both. Nothing appears on the right where, the director/writer/air date/codec etc.. should appear.

is there something this is needed to be changed for this to appear regarding the skin or the tvseries plugin?


btw, i'm loving the indigo skin!


edit: i found out why. i needed to import the file for the "output formatting rules" (from the mediaportal display control tab of the tv series config screen) like i did for the logo configiration. guess i overlooked that step in the setup! whoops
