MediaPortal Version: 1.0.0.0 RC MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo Wide Windows Version: Vista x64 ultimate Video Card: Geforce 8800 GT So I've just started getting a weird error with media portal when I try to get it to autostart. If I place media portal in windows' startup folder, or enable "autostart on bootup" from config, then I'll get the following error when windows loads up: "This sample cannot run in a desktop window with the current display settings. Please change your desktop settings to a 16- or 32-bit display mode and re-run this sample. MediaPortal has to be closed." now, this error just started popping up. MediaPortal previously used to start up no problem, and I have it running on another PC without a hitch. If I click ok on the error window, then restart media portal, it starts no problem. It's only during bootup. I can hear the windows error noise sound just before my desktop displays, so I'm thinking maybe media portal is trying to load during the windows loading screen which is 256 color or something? In any case, this error is annoying, and I'd greatly appreciate any help.
