    I've found these errors in the configuration.log file... can anyone decifer them? I think it may have something to do with why my create TV thumbnail function doesn't work.

    Hi,
    Do you have this error with Blue3 or Blue3Wide skin, seems like something is missing?

    Regards
    Roy

    The log shows:

    2009-01-06 12:17:35.954038 [Info.][Config Main]: Skin selected: Blue3wide (screenWidth=1920, screenHeight=1200, screenRatio=1.6)

    Seeing as this appears to be the the first reported indication of trouble (after MP config but before MP loads), I thought I should focus on it, first.

    Hi,
    It could be related to TV-Server not found (TVHome: Error in Reload - A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 192.168.1.200:31456), do you have this error when TV-Server it's up running & else working with MP (it could also been something which is fixed in svn & my brain don't remember it ;) (to many changes & fixes from release & to now).

    Btw, don't post logs in post, just atach log files.

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi,

    I had the same error in the logfiles and checked the code (from VMR9OSD.cs):

    private void ReadSkinFile()
    {
    // channel list
    m_osdChannels.baseRect = "nsrect:14,31,215:20,20,120:243,182,16:255,255,255:Arial:14";
    // bg
    try
    {
    if (_legacyVolumeOsd)
    {
    m_volumeBitmap = new Bitmap(skinPath + "legacyosd_volume_level_10.png");
    m_volumeBitmap.MakeTransparent(Color.White);
    m_muteBitmap = new Bitmap(skinPath + "legacyosd_volume_level_0.png");
    m_muteBitmap.MakeTransparent(Color.White);
    }
    else
    {
    _volumeStatesBitmap = new Bitmap(skinPath + "volume.states.png");
    _volumeMuteBitmap = new Bitmap(skinPath + "volume.states.mute.png");
    }
    }
    catch (Exception ex)
    {
    Log.Error(ex);
    }
    }

    It seemed that some of these png files were missing from the skin. Also with the default Blue3Wide skin. Just copy them from another skin (I believe Blue3 have them) and the errors are gone!

    greetz,

    Pascal
