evr + mkv = no postprocessing (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, i'm not sure if this happened when i updated to the latest svn or installed vista sp1 but i'm not able to use postprocessing anymore on mkv files with evr, i've always used ffdshow raw filter to upscale them and for subtitles but now i'm forced to use ffdshow as decoder instead of coreavc because on mkv files i can't get postprocessing to work anymore, and if i try to switch to vmr9 they don't even get played... i'm really lost, anyone got any idea why this happens? Im running mp latest svn on a vista 32 sp1 machine and an ati hd3850 with catalyst 8.3.
